A message from Madame Theany
the President of the CFR
 The high profile of the recent Asian 5 Nations tournament has
given us the clear vision to develop of the game of rugby further in
Cambodia.
We are now playing in the eyes of the entire world of
rugby. It is not only pride but commitment for the CFR to be part of
the international game.
 Our players and members will have followed the results of this
A5N competition and will be aware of the results up to the current
games.
The CFR is committed to developing the standard of rugby in
Cambodia so that promotion to higher divisions will be possible in
the future.
We still have a way to go but Cambodia is very proud and
we are confident of our development.
The CFR would like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsor
of the Asian 5 nations, HSBC, for the support given through this
tournament.
It is not only the funding but the targets set for the
development and growth of rugby in Cambodia.
 With the A5N
competition our national team has set a standard to achieve and
future goal for all players in Cambodia to aspire to.
I now want to thank all our sponsors, suppliers, supporters and
our members who have volunteered to gave their time to help us
organize the tournament in Phnom Penh.
Finally, I wish all the competitors the best luck for the
tournament.
